Hi, I am Joscelyne, and this is my life.
I have loved the arts from a very young age, and am very lucky that I have a family who have always supported my passion for the arts. Whether onstage performing, backstage creating or fixing costumes, or in a studio creating art, you will always find me filling my time with my passions!
It's my belief as performer that we should always be growing and learning new skills, always improving and cultivating our craft. As such, in my free time (which is very limited) I am always searching for new areas to learn from to self - educate myself so I can be bringing the most I can to any role or position! Sometimes it's researching the evolution of the corset - very valuable for period pieces, or teaching myself some ukulele or improving my piano playing - very valuable for modern concerts, shows and even auditions! Whatever I can possibly do to become the most well rounded performer I can be, I do it!
I am currently bouncing back and forth between Vancouver and Victoria, living wherever my passion takes me! This summer, that was to Vancouver to be Lorraine Fleming in "42nd Street" with Theatre Under the Stars. By September I will be back in Victoria to return to school for my 3rd year of college, enrolled in CCPA's Company C program. After that, we will see where life takes me!
